There is something about that little height which block heels and kitten heels provide you with.
A whole vintage outfit is something I regularly find myself in. I don’t have a whole figure mirror, so usually I notice it when I’ve left my apartment. “Wow – I’m all vintage today” I often think to myself. I like to daydream about what my clothes might have seen when they lived in the U.S in their earlier life. Most of my vintage comes from the U.S – if you are wondering why I’m so terribly specific. Both of my jackets are vintage from secondLove in Bergen, and my dress is purchased on Etsy.
The one, the only – my favourite designer of all times is avant-garde mastermind Pierre Cardin. One of the things I really like about Cardin was that he completely ignored the female form – a rare and unique standpoint at the time. With an apprenticeship as a tailor in hand, he went on to work with (another favourite designer of mine) Elsa Schiparelli – and then became head of Diors tailleure atelier. He started his own house in 1950. His use of color and geometric shapes has provided me with so much inspiration.
