Last week I visited the textile conservation department with  my class at VKA. There is so much inspiration to be found in old clothes! It’s amazing to think about what they made with very limited means. During this course I’ve learned so much about fabrics and their history, and especially find linen fascinating! At the moment NKR2 runs a very interesting series about the manufacturing of clothes and textiles, where (amongst many other interesting topics) linen is grown and refined. Take a look here:. I’m sure I’ll be a super nerd at the end of this!

Have a wonderful day xxx
