Finally my mod jumpsuit in bright pink linen is finished!
Finally I’ve managed to take a picture of my jumpsuit! It’s based on a Simplicity pattern from the 60’s – and the fabric is linen. It’s a funny little jumpsuit with “fake pockets” and contrast stitching. I didn’t have any topstitching thread so I had to use all-purpose sewing thread. Looking back I could tell that the result would have been even better if I had the topstitching thread for the details.
The reason why I made this mod jumpsuit is that I’m lacking garments of natural fibres for summer vacation. I travelled to my holiday house in Greece this year, with all my wonderful polyester pieces. Needless to say; I used one dress for the entire trip. It was simply too hot!
Keen on seeing some other things I made? Take a look at the Teal Traina linen suit from last month!
